Oliver Glasner praised the refereeing after he ruled out sending off Will Hughes, and said the 1-1 draw at Chelsea was the result they deserved. Palace were already behind in the second half. When Will Hughes was booked for a foul on Cole Palmer in the box

but referee Jared Gillett refused to give him a further penalty. Blues boss Enzo Maresca said in his post-match interview that Hughes should have been sent off. But Glasner had a different view of the 29-year-old England midfielder’s problems.

“It was a good decision for the game because otherwise there would have been too many yellow cards and we wanted to see a game with 11 men,” the Austrian began.

“I don’t know if Will was lucky or not, but it was a big mistake on my part. The assistant told us to take him off at half-time but I didn’t.

“Will was a little bit late on the challenge but it wasn’t a bad foul. I’m very happy the referee didn’t ruin the atmosphere on Sunday.”

Shortly after being reduced to 10 men, Eberechi Ese curled a superb curler. From the edge of the area into the far post as Palace. Who have lost each of their first two games, secured their first point of the season.

“The performance in the second half, we deserved the point. We came here with 14 first-team players because of injuries and some new players who had just arrived,” Glassner added to ทางเข้า ufabet.

“In the first half we didn’t have chances and we had a couple of lucky moments because the opposition missed chances. We know you have to come to this stadium to have a great goalkeeper and we have Dean Henderson. “In

the second half we were much better. When we kept our shape, Chelsea couldn’t find the spaces and we are always dangerous on the counter-attack. “In

the end we saw the quality of Chelsea’s attacking players as well, but we defended very well and relied on Henderson for one more moment. Overall I’m very happy with the point and the performance of the team.”
